Question Disparity between main camera fov and human eye fov?

    This question has confused me for a long time. I found for most unity3d games, the main camera fov is set to around 60-90 degs. But for most HMDs, the fov is greater than 90 degs.

    What are the consequeces of such disparity? Shouldn't we always keep them be the same?

    Can you elaborate about what makes you think the FoV should not match the human eye, and physical FoV in the headset?

    Camera fov is simply ignored in VR mode and the HMDs fov is used instead. So there's nothing to worry about.
