[Discussion] Netcode for GameObjects 1.0-pre release

    I just heard the 1.0-pre-release is now here. (congratulations to the team on the release)
    Along with a new relay & lobby service, in beta. (separate products).

    Although it's been more than a year, I believe NFG 1.0 was rushed as well by management/marketing due to the Gaming services package unity now offers.
    I believe this rush will hinder future development, now that they can't break APIs and make major changes and so on. Significantly slow down development, probably.

    some features are still missing from NFG. no client side prediction, Snapshot inter isn't really there, no interest management, lots of gc allocations last I checked (maybe better in 1.0?)

    What do you think about this release?
