Bug disable auto asset refresh is ignored sometimes

    I like to disable asset refresh for speed.

    I noticed in 2021.3.11f1 i will do this and all is working, then randomly it starts to ignore and just auto refresh anyway. Toggling the setting does nothing and I must restart unity to make it work again.


    This used to be under
    edit/preferences/general >auto refresh.

    it is now under
    edit/preferences/Asset Pipeline > auto refresh

    Visual Studio: Tools -> Options -> Tools for Unity -> Refresh Unity's AssetDatabase on save: False
