Now that Apple have disallowed games in the kids category

    https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=06032019j

Is it possible to disable and remove analytics from iOS but keep it on Android?

I know you can disable analytics at runtime, but I imagine before the user code starts and you can disable it, analytics will ping your servers (also the privacy plugin).

    Thanks
    Chris

Came here to ask the same question. And also... how does this additional clause affect use of Unity Analytics:...?
    • Guideline 5.1.1(i). Apps must get consent for data collection, even if the data is considered anonymous at the time of or immediately following collection.
Unity Analytics' GDPR approach via the Data Privacy plugin has (up to now) revolved around giving users the ability to opt out of data collection (not to opt in first), but it seems that to comply with Apple's new rules, we will need to get explicit consent first, whether or not Unity thinks we do.
