DirectX 11

    anyone make Direct X 11 shader for unity?like old pakeges (hard surface shader,chicken shader),with reflection,tessellation or more many shader which use AAA games.:confused::confused:

    Potentially someone has started it.
    But its important to keep in mind that the support for it is not that old and still in works and that it only works on Windows with DX11 with supported hardware, none of the other platforms.

    So all other platforms including Windows without DX11 support / hw with support for it the named shader packages will still be the way to go

    Obviously when unity 4 will be released, you will see all new fancy stuff for dx11 around here. But unity4 is not released yet. And we dont know in what capacity it will be released.

    DX11 stuff should be posted in Developer Preview. Moreover, there are already several threads about its features.

    The HardSurface and Chiken shaders are on the Asset Store and it is still not possible to submit things to the AS on Unity 4. However, I think they work under Unity4 (I don't know why they wouldn't).
