    Hi all,

iam starting right now with Unity.
To Beginn with all that i googled around and found Digital Tutor with Membership of 49 Dollars.

is it worth that money or do you think its better for me to start with YT or something else?

My idea is a Local Multiplayer Game where the max 4 Player Battle each other by kicking out of the Ring.

It doesn't matter what your idea is. Start with the basics. You can get there on free tutorials, or you can pay and get something that might help a bit quicker. As for whether any particular site is going to work for you, read reviews. If there aren't any reviews, that's a huge warning sign!

Just for Unity? Not really. Everyone has Unity tutorials, even free ones.
Digital Tutors is actually quite garbage, and expensive as hell. I only use it because of the massive range of software they have tutorials for, and some things like ZBrush have a huge number of tutorials for various subjects. I won't be re-subbing once it runs out at the end of the year, though.
You pretty much have two kinds of videos on that site; ones from the actual tutors who are poster children of the "If you can't do it, teach it" phrase, with knowledge of how to teach in general but god-awful art skills and a bare-minimum knowledge of any particular piece of software they may be using.
The other kind is from guest tutors with mediocre skills but no real teaching ability or clear goal, used mostly to fill out their site with MOAR VIDEOS. Annoying voices are a bonus.
Basically a random youtube tutorial you've paid good money for.
Their tutorials, though flawed, generally are good for learning all the basics of how to use a piece of software because of just how comprehensive their coverage of a subject is. It's just that I'm pretty sure you can get that elsewhere, for less.

    Yeah!
    Digital Tutors are okay.
But even though there tuts are okay, it's better you save your money.

When I was in Animation class our teacher put on some Digital Tutor Maya beginner tuts, for us to learn from.
And even he was confused, when they just kept modelling like for eg. a living room and other objects.
And not explaining, where to find certain tools etc.
Sometimes the Tutor on the vid would be modelling an object, and he remains silent for about 2 to 4 minutes.
Does some fancy stuff and we were like.......... WTFUUB?! o_O
    What happened there?
Eeeeeeeek!! How did he do that?
Is he gonna explain what he did for the past 4 minutes when he was silent? Lol!

Some of them try their best, but are almost awful tutors.
So I ended up asking my teacher most of the stuff that I didn't understand in Maya.
    Or figuring it out myself.

But if you want to spend money, one good place, I would suggest, is going to CG cookies, Unity Cookie.
    https://cgcookie.com/unity/ :D

I wouldn't really say that Digital Tutors tuts are super bad, but they are quite informative and money worthy.
    To a certain good extent.
But there a good handful of them, that are pretty to look at, but professionally horrible, at explaining the step by step process of what is going on, on the screen. etc.

But as some of the guys/gals here suggested, you can find some Basic free ones.
    eg. Youtubey etc.

Yes. 3d buzz has some okay ones too. :p

And you can check out http://www.burgzergarcade.com/
    Hack and Slash tutorials.
    That may help you alot.
    They are free too.

Some of Unity's Official tutorials are good too. :D

Yeah, that's a problem with DT as well; they have a bad habit of doing things and not explaining how the hell they did it. Even in the beginner tutorials.

digital tutorials has also this site membership included,
    http://pluralsight.com/training/Courses
(founded it pretty useful, those c# courses at least, and there's 10 day trial available there)

Unity Learn site would be much better for a beginner to get "jump start",
    http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/modules

although those 3ds max + unity tutorials ones are pretty good..(to learn proper workflows)
