Hello, fairly new to Unity. In my project, i have multiple animations. I've noticed i have two different types and i don't know what is the difference.

Some of my animations, when i click them in my project, are all greyed out in the inspector. They do have an EDIT button in the top right corner of the inspector and they i have access to the animation tab, to set events.

Other animations, when i select them in my project, are not greyed out in the inspector, but they do have an OPEN button in the top right which do nothing when i click it.

Anyway i can make the second type animation work like the first type??

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but i haven't found it in the forums. Thanks for your help.
