    Hello,

I'd like to know what the difference between ComponentDataProxy and Authoring Components. As far I understand they do the same thing: converting GameObject itself or its components to Entity or Entities' components. Am I right or no? When is it better to use ComponentDataProxy and Authoring Components?

ComponentDataProxy was the solution that existed before authoring components and the conversion system existed. Authoring components and the conversion workflow are superior in just about every way.

ComponentDataProxy is also likely to be removed at some point. Its not recommended to use it.
