Games Diasy -- A symmetrical drawing app made with Unity

Daisy is a functioning drawing app made with Unity. It is currently in beta and at version 0.55. Daisy is not a game but can be used to create artwork for games

Daisy has a small price tag. You can watch the embedded you tube video on the Daisy project website to see how it works.

I created the following images while casually using Daisy:




The following is currently implemented:

• symmetrical drawing: horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or all at once!
• Create your own brushes
• Edit brush strokes on the canvas: change position, rotation, and color of your brush strokes easily
• Use infinite layers to create your images
• Save your artwork as a PNG file
• Save a selected area of the canvas to disk as an image instantly… no copying and pasting to another canvas like other applications

Currently there is a bug in rotating symmetrical objects on the canvas that were not created at the center of the screen. They can still be rotated BUT they don't rotate around their center. This means they have to be moved back into position after being rotated. Working on it. Symmetrical objects created at the center of the screen do not have this issue. Other images loaded into Daisy and placed anywhere on the canvas do not have this issue and are rotated around their center correctly.

This image was created entirely with an unreleased version of Daisy. Daisy 0.6 will be released shortly and will include some improvements to the GUI and allow 3D scenes to be created on the canvas. Check out Daisy at www.daisy3d.com.
