Diablo 3's resource orbs

    So dumb question:



    The orbs in Diablo 3 that they use for Resources, are they pre-rendered to a sprite sheet, or are they dynamic?

    And follow up question: Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn how to make pre-rendered sprite sheets, cause right now that like magic to me. Like are there programs to help out (other than 3d modelers)?
