Question Detecting Shader Compilation Failure

Does anyone know if there's a way to detect when shaders fail to compile?

On low-end machines, we're getting a lot of errors that look like one of these:
    • d3d11: failed to create 2D texture id=897 width=257 height=171 mips=1 dxgifmt=29 [D3D error was 887a0005]
    • d3d11: failed to create 2D texture shader resource view id=877 [D3D error was 80070057]
Ideally I'd like to handle this failure gracefully, but I can't find any way of catching these errors.

    Any help is appreciated!
