Destructible 2-D Soft Body

    My teammate and I are trying to develop a game that utilizes soft body physics. We are trying to make a soft body mesh that is destructible (like worms) and can be "cut" on the edges or in the center of the soft body object. Our goal is to be able to utilize the elastic properties to their fullest extent.

    The problem that we are facing though is that we are falling short of advice on how to do this. Any and all advice is welcome.

    We appreciate the response and we'll be sure to keep this link on file while we continue to develop our game.

    This is helpful but we also want to make the object destructible, or cuttable like a cloth, and 2-D. We want soft body physics similar to The Floor Is Jelly (http://thefloorisjelly.com/).
