I say hello to everyone reading and ask you a question: what really drives you to develop in game development? Tell me, what makes you overcome the fear of how much work needs to be done in so many years, how many skills you need to learn, what makes you completely abandon your essence and concentrate on creative love?

Anyone else read the post title in U2?

Please include paragraph breaks. Reading though so much text is incredibly challenging.

First step is to deal with your own problems. Depression is a serious condition, and you should seek out help to deal with that first. Get a job, even if it's just a casual job or something, so you can pay the bills and remain fed. Do your game dev on the side.

Don't try to make your first game your magnum opus. Take some small part of your vision and make a simple, little game based around that. It is motivating to finish something, even if it isn't the entirety of your original vision. If you are primarily focusing on a story, consider using another engine like RPG Maker that might be better suited or that kind of thing.

Yes, I thought about RPG Maker recently, but one of my projects is suited for Side-Scroller (2D Platformer), and that's why I've been hoping to implement both in Unity (thought this way it will be easier). So really thanks for your support ;)
