I'm trying to create a low poly exterior pack but am uncertain what sort of content dev's would like? I use: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/fantasy/polygon-adventure-pack-80585 as a reference for the sort of style I am trying to go for but obviously want to create some different content. Please note: I am a 3D modeller
one thing I see a lot of just on these forums is newbies who want to make horror games. Dunno why, just seems like a lot of beginners want to make a horror game. So maybe something to cater to that. You know, decrepit buildings, catacombs, dark spooky warehouses, stuff like that. Kind of depends on your own self-assessment of what your skills are, but if you think you can do better than those asset packages that are selling well already, that might be a clever way as you know there is already an audience. Like, maybe something a little prettier and with more content and sell it for 3 dollars less. customizeability is a big plus as well. if you can provide some easy in-editor toggles to cycle through texture variations and maybe some prebuilt lighting situations that may be a bonus as well. Maybe a toggle that cycles through a low, medium, or high amount of prop clutter. Just little things like that which make it easier for the developer to play around and find a look they like.
