I just purchased this asset and I like what I see thus far. You are off to a good start.

One thing you need to add is an AI that fires a ranged weapon at the player.

We're two of us now, working on the next version, it'll take a few weeks based on the rate we're advancing now, and also, the documentation will be way better, and accompanied by video tutorials.

Hi, I'm really sorry that you feel that way, however you are right, I haven't updated the asset as promised, turned out making a mobile fps asset was not a good idea as there are many other solutions on the store, rendering my asset pretty much useless, I can't continue supporting this asset and I hope you understand.

I am sorry to hear that so much of your work hasn't paid off. Since you don't plan anymore updates will you open source this project?

 

Rather than deprecating it, seems like a better idea to make it free instead, some people might find it helpful, I will certainly consider it, thanks for the idea.

It's a shame they chose to remove it rather than giving it away free like he said he was considering. I realise people don't like to part with their hard work for free but this way the work is just wasted.

 

I've been thinking to upload it again, as a free asset, but it needs some improvements and bug fixes.

This looks like an example of how many challenges a developer can have in trying to earn money on the Asset Store. Many great assets just get over-looked.
