    Greets!

Just like to know if there's a way to test the different assets before purchase?

Moving this thread to assets/asset-store forum, since I think it's a better fit for this question :)

I am not not as asset store publisher, but I can say that in general - there is no way to test assets as there is no possible way for the asset creator to remove the code and art from your machine if you test and decide to not use it.

With that said, the asset store does offer refunds in some cases, but read the fine print before you purchase and then get your refund refused.

As an alternative to testing an asset itself, I recommend you look for a support forum thread or discord for people to ask about the asset and post your questions before a purchase. A responsive community around an asset is almost as valuable as the asset itself.

Thought so about the impossible removal, but seein so many frustrated and dissatisfied reviews, and after expensive purchases, i was wonderin.

OK, gotta tread carefully there. Cheers!

I always check the reviews and their dates and compare it against the update dates of the asset. If there have been a lot of complaints in the last year with no response from the author and no update in 14 months, no purchase from me. On the other hand, if there are lots of updates in the last few months with bug fixes and maybe even some new features mentioned in the changelogs, then I can't hit buy fast enough.

Ask the publisher. And support them if they provide a demo.

So it's possible. That's such a fundamental agreement in a deal.
