Resolved Decals not working as expected, normals non-existent

    Hi there,

    Maybe this is just the way decals work but I'm not liking the level to which decals are blended with the material below them. Is there a way to adjust the amount as road patches look weird with the road normal map showing through? Looks much better with a plane using a standard hdrp lit material.

    EDIT - so there's no visual difference at all if I tick/untick Affect Normal or even if I remove the normal map from the decal material. So something is wrong here?

    EDIT 2 - so it must be the way I have the texture set up. If I change from MaskMapBlue to BaseColorMapAlpha I get the normal effect but the albedo colour goes almost black!

    So, here's the issues I'm having with the two different mask options. I'm really stuck here :/

    Decal was upside down so normals were of course being inverted! :rolleyes:
