    I got this error despite the game working fine:

    NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

    I've very new to unity and am wondering how to tell what this is referring to. Its clearly an animation issue but how can I tell which object its even referring to? Never mind which specific animation.

    Yet to receive a response to any of my posts asking for assistance so far. Nobody knows what this error might be about?

    A whole lotta BS AFAIC. Unity should specify how to find this error...or get rid of it.

    I got the same error and fixed it with my crazy hacking skills: I opened another project and then opened my original project and the error was gone. So yeah, I agree with the guy above me, this error is BS.
