Debug.log editor performance issues

    I'm not entirely sure if this has already been posted as a bug, anyway upon upgrading a project to Unity 5 Beta (on b9 at the moment), I noticed that using Debug.Log() seriously effects the performance within both the editor and in a development build. I was using 1 log per frame and getting 14 fps, in a scene with very little overhead.

    Is this just me or has anyone else experienced this problem?
