I'm the modeler, the character is still in an early stage, in fact i've just imported the objects into zbrush to start tweaking the mesh, after that i'll break the symmetry, anyway thanks for the crits and kind words

Another WIP of the main character, the trousers are still simmetrical and the colors are just the base, maybe the head is a bit larger than it should be : )

I'm working simmetrical the whole body, after that i'll break his simmetry and add dirt and blood to the clothes

by the way... thanks Myhijim for the compliment!! : D

Just thought I'd say thanks to unity and the community for the support! We are also now ranked 44th out of 9000 on IndieDB.

I don't see how that makes sense, considering you only have 264 visits on the entire page.

Good luck on the game, but as KheltonHeadley said, your game rank on indieDB doesn't make sense at all. 350 visits and 11 memebers?

My game got over 17k visits, what you smoking? 11 Members? Our group is 3 people, and that page has more views than this game.

Is that showing emotions? Or it's me informing your friend here that he's wrong. It's a public forum, a public thread so if I'm not spamming or trolling or breaking the rules I'm allowed to be here, no?

He was talking about Josh's game, not yours Khelton -_-. Anyway, only the developer can see their rank. Post a pic! The game seems to have a comic style to the characters, looks nice!

Looking really good! The head of the main character looks a tad small, but, that's just me. Is there any gameplay yet?

IndieDB's rating system is really weird - My game skyrocketed from 512 to 44 a few days ago in about an hour, before plunging back to 200.

Love the firearms! Wish I could do them as good as you :p May I ask, how you did the little things on the guns, like the magazine release button? Or the saftey switch? Are they extrusions?

The Weapons were made by our old modeller so I'm not sure but when our new modellers do new ones I'll get them to message you or even make a video on IndieDB on how to do it.

Hello guys, a big announcement today... We have been given a chance to go to IndieE3 to show off Dead Inside ! This is the biggest opportunity we have ever had as a small indie group to promote our game and get it out there to the gaming world. But you have to get us nominated to go to IndieE3 and in order to do that you have to vote for us straight away and say why we are awesome and why we should be given the chance to go IndieE3.

What happens if we get voted to go to IndieE3 ? :
Well, we are going to make Dead Inside our main priority and slow down development on God World so we can put everything we have got into the development of Dead Inside to make it the best game we can possibly make. This means that you will get regular updates and much more.

How to vote for us to go to IndieE3 :
Its very, very simple. All you have to do is go to the following website IndieCrashesE3 and type in the authentication code to allow you early entry 86HG5K and fill out the form and tell them why we should go to IndieE3 and you could win a chance to come with us to IndieE3 and meet fellow developers.

    Go here:

Video looks good, but if you were voted to indie3, what would you show off? A bunch of models? You don't even have any gameplay yet, people won't be interested in just pics.

What reason do you have not to show it off? Even if it's not polished, it is something. Showing nothing will get you nowhere.

I find his claim a bit suspicious because:
    1. Why would you show it off to the hundreds of thousand at e3 but not us.
    2. if there was anything but models, you would show it so we would vote for you.
    3. and we haven't even seen the models rendered in game
Why would we believe your claims?

Okay, even if his claims are suspicious, its his choice whether or not to withhold his model, odd reasons aside. Who knows, maybe he would like a big reveal at E3. I'm not criticising your outlook, but at least let the guy respond before you start trashing his information.

I am not releasing a buggy version as it hasn't been polished to a standard that I would want the public to see, also as @LightSource said that I may want a big reveal and that is another reason for no game play videos as releasing a buggy version before indiecrashesE3 would be a bit risky(If we get to indieE3). And also @DTG108 look what you released with the bugged up animations... We want to take our time before publishing gameplay or a downloadable version because we want to look professional and look like we are making a good game and not pushing for money.

You're not being professional by taking a stab at another game developer and acussing them of things, this will just create another war on your thread so it continues to be pushed up to the top to gain popularity / hype.

If you have something to say to him, just tell him by a PM.
