Daz Genesis 3 importing to Unity.

    I've been trying to import a character with an animation from Daz to Unity. The character is a Genesis 3 model and the animation is a simple walk. The animation does not import correctly (the arms and legs are wrong). I'm guessing this is because Genesis 3 has a different rig to Unity's Humanoid (extra bones in arms and legs for example).

    What can I do to fix this? Do I need a custom controller of some kind?

    Not enough info to solve the issue, but - just switch to generic rig and the animation/rig should import and look correct.
