    Hey guys,

I googled this topic but never saw a real answer.

I am working on a game for Google Daydream and so far so good everything works.
What will I need to do to also get this game working on GearVR(With Controller)/Oculus Go platforms?

Do I have to make two different APKs, Package Names, and store listings?
Do I have to have the game detect the headset and switch between SDK APIs?

Any guidance would be helpful thanks!

Given hard OS requirements imposed by Gear VR you will have to make 2 separate APKs, each targeting their respective SDKs. Samsung and Oculus are working on a fix for this but we have no ETA on that at this time.

So when I put the game on Google Store, there will be two different listings? If one were to open the store inside Daydream VR they would only find the Daydream version, vice versa for Oculus. But if they looked on the regular mobile store with their phones they will see both?

I don't think Gear VR apps are distributed through Google Play. I believe they are only through the Oculus store.

ohh okay, that makes sense. Thanks. So as far as the Unity Project itself. I would have to make pretty much 2 separate games for each platform right? There is no way to have support for both in one project and just have it detect which platform it's on?

Or do you mean I can work on the same project but "Build" out with different platform settings?

Right, though you could automate the build to set appropriate SDKs and build settings and allow yourself to have one single project.
