Database for user info and scores ?

    My friend a i are working on school project.We will create an online game.We need a database for storing user info's (username,password etc.) and scores to show them in a leaderboard.Does unity provide such database ? If not is there a free database to use in this situation ?

    You can use PHP + MySQL Database. because you don't need a realtime server or be a very fast . php and mySQL fixes your need.

    MySQL is free
    PHP is free
    Linux is free with both included as well as free Apache2 web server, but they are all free for Windows/Mac as well.

    Check if Dreamlo is still avail in asset store - used to be free and a very simple solution.

    More sophisticated things like gamejolt or gamesparks
