    We've just noticed that the Data Privacy plugin (https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/add-ons/services/unity-data-privacy-plug-in-118922) has stopped working in several of our games that we've implemented it into. When you press the button, nothing happens at all any more, and on a couple of our games, repeatedly pressing the button now crashes the app. Not great.

    It was working only a couple of days ago.

    Anyone else finding the same? Is there something down on the Unity side?

    Yes! we found the same, if you look at the logs there is a warning that says "Failed to get data privacy url: Cannot resolve destination host", seems that the address the button tries to open is down

    Thanks! Good to know it's not just us.
    Hopefully Unity are aware.

    Same here! Sounds like a major issue, so hoping Unity fixes it soon! Any one reported it on Unity Issues yet?

    I submitted a bug report earlier. Not sure what the best way is of alerting someone these days. Might tweet at some people...

    @antifuzz, @DanielGamaga, @sameer-mirza

    Thanks for reporting this. It should be working again.

    Just to let everyone know, the outage did not affect anyone that had already opted out of the system; those requests were still honored. The outage was related to the url that the privacy button requests, which means that new opt-out requests weren't possible during this time.

    We've added some additional monitoring to prevent this in the future.
