Take the following with a big grain of salt, but could this application (Dashcode) be something Apple has up it's sleeve? Javascript debugging (breakpoints), WYSIWYG editor, plus a heck of a lot more!

Pure idle speculation of course ... or is it?

    Bad links removed.

I have no idea. It looks pretty nice!
By the way, only the first link works.

Nice photoshop, but I see no reason. Why replace xcode? Anyone making widgets (not from unity) most likely has the developer tools installed so they can see the examples and also see the documentation on how to build widgets, so they'd just have to add a plug in to xcode, so dashboard widget is an option on create project.

The pictures are either fake, or Apple are behaving randomly to annoy users (wouldn't be a first). Choose.

Of the two choices, it's closer to the second. Trust me.

I really think apple would be silly to do this, and I don't understand the intel move - 68K was so good!
