Dark ui Pro Only ?

That's my take on it. I do think if Unity does decide to give the dark UI, it's the nail in the coffin for changing personal splash screen. That's giving just too much leeway and free owners will have to suck it right up with a straw since Unity does need money to survive.

This point 3 is what I think the real reason is Hippo. I have 4 pro and am currently trying out 5 not pro, and I have to say as a one man band full time indie, that all the other pro features are no use to me at all, I don't need or want to use any of them. So for me the dark skin is the only benefit I'd get from the pro version of 5.

I'm not surprised people moan about not having the dark skin, as I've just gone from 3 years of dark skin to a couple of weeks light skin and the difference is actually quite horrible. BUT there's no way I'd pay to get it back.

So? Unity still needs actual reasons. Such as evidence that the unity colour scheme impairs anyone somehow. I'm not fighting people, I'm telling people what will help.

None of this stuff came up until Unity gave away the entire engine. Crazy times.

This problem has been here for a long time. Maybe more people realize, PRO people that non-eye killing old skin is the last thing standing in the way of making Unity almost perfect.
