Dark Theme Disabled on Unity 2020.1.1f1 Personal

    Hi everyone, I heard the dark theme was made available for free not so long ago. When I go to Edit > Preferences > Editor Theme I am still unable to change the theme (it is grayed out).
    What can I do?

    I believe the dark theme option for all users was introduced with Unity 2020.1.2.

    This. We haven't heard anything about them backporting the change to older releases so the only way to enable it for now is to use Unity 2020.1.2 or newer.

    The Personal dark theme has always worked for me on 2019.4.8f. I have never installed a 2020 version of the editor. Not sure what the root cause here is, but it sounds like a bug considering dark theme has been supported several versions back. Should definitely be appearing in 2020.1.1f1

    Check the 2019.4.8 release notes and you'll find: "Editor: Dark Theme editor preference is now available to all users" under the Improvements label. I have checked and the dark theme was not implemented in earlier versions of 2019.4. Just as an FYI if you want to work in an LTS and have the dark theme!

    have the same issue. using Unity 2020.1.1f1 with Personal license and the option is greyed out
