I've created and textured a model in blender and imported it into Unity.
It mostly works as expected, but there are dark lines, almost like a distorted soccer ball, when Unity renders it.
Is this a watermark, or am I doing something wrong? (see image)

I don't believe this is specific to the Linux version of the editor. Try turning off mip-mapping in the texture import settings.

It may not be Linux specific, but I don't use win/mac.
I tried turning off the mip-mapping, but that didn't help.
In fact it has nothing to do with my model or material. A simple sphere with the default material in a new project shows the same pattern. See attached. Is there another forum where I should post questions like this? I'm a total Unity noob.

It looks like the reflections are messed up. Which Linux distro do you use it on?
