If you have integrated graphics, have you tried disconnection the 2080 and running Unity on the integrated graphics?

If the crashes stop, it could be a graphics driver/card problem.

I'm confident its not an issue with my card. This crash only happens while loading one specific scene.

Does it happen on another computer?

Currently downloading the repo onto another machine -- it's a very large repo, might take a while.

I've tested this on some other machines.

    - MacBook Pro 2018: no freezes or crashes
    - Windows PC (Ryzen 2700X, RTX 2080, 16gb RAM): same issue as me

The issue only occurs in the editor, the standalone build works fine.

My driver version is the latest, 451.67.

Uninstalling Geforce Experience doesn't work either.

Have you tried it on a non-nVidia PC? Even if it's just the integrated GPU. Might help narrow down if it is just a general issue with Windows, or a more specific graphics driver problem.
