    Greetings.

I'm having problems to upload a Cylinder Target to Vuforia database.

    My target dimensions are:

    Top Diameter: 5,66 cm
    Bottom Diameter: 5,66cm
    Side length: 5cm

    According to my calculations: Circunference = R*pi, so 5,66 * 3,14 = 17,77

    So I made a 17,77cm x 5 cm image PNG no alpha. (635KB).
But, somehow I'm receiveing an error message:

An error occurred while uploading the image. Please try later.

And I'm having the same error over, and over and over.

    What did I do wrong?

    Hey Zagaz,

Are you still seeing that issue today? I've heard a few people having issues uploading targets and creating databases over this last weekend. These issues seem to be gone now however.

    Thanks!

    I still do.

My question is, my dimensions are right? I'm planning to make a AR on a longneck bottle:

    Top Diameter: 5,66 cm
    Bottom Diameter: 5,66cm
    Side length: 5cm

    So I made a 17,77cm x 5 cm image PNG no alpha. (635KB).

    Hey Zagaz,

I was able to upload a Cylinder target with your given dimensions. I set the sizes of the target in the Target Manager to:
    Top Diameter: 5.66
    Bottom Diameter: 5.66
    Length: 5

I then created a 17.77cm x 5cm image and was able to upload it as the "Side" image on the target.

In your case, are you creating an image that is 17.66cm wide or tall? Could you share your image with me so I can give it a try?

    Thanks!

I'm able to upload that as the side image for a cylinder target. I've attached a screenshot from the Target Manager.

Unfortunately, im having the same problem. But only with png files. i testing uploading a .jpeg image, and it was successful, however, when i try to upload a .png file.. Oh no, the same message that some error ocurred.

Somebody could help me. This is the dimensions that im using are:

    Top Diameter: 6,5 cm
    Bottom Diameter: 6,5cm
    Side length: 11,5cm

    So I made a 20,42cm x 11,5 cm image PNG no alpha.

What i'm supposed to do now?

    Hello @Alexlima12,

Apologies that I cannot personally translate Portuguese to English.

I don't understand why you are multiplying the upper diameter by pi (3.14). The Target Manager does not require this value as input, only the top diameter, bottom diameter and side length.

Most problems with cylinder targets are related to uploading your image based upon the dimensions you've specified. If you cannot get this to work, share your image here and I can take a look.

    Thanks,
