Im currently making a cutscene, (also im incredibly new to unity) im using the timeline for animation, and have a camera and a 3rd person player. Basically i want the player to walk up to a car hit a button, then switch the camera focus from the 3rd person player to the camera i have setup in the car, playout the animation then have the camera end and the players out of the car, which had then moved. Anyone know a way of doing this simply or at all? thanks in advance :)

I'd start by watching and following along this series of videos on Timeline:

    https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/topics/animation/using-timeline-overview?playlist=17099

It explains the basics of how to move an object. Then I'd recommend just starting by adding one thing at a time to your cutscene, and slowly put it all together. There's no magic wand for this, just a lot of small pieces that you can arrange together.

Depending on how complex you want your camera work to be, consider using Cinemachine for switching between cameras and smoothly moving the camera during your cutscene. (https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials...ng-cinemachine-getting-started?playlist=17099)
