Customizable splash screen coming in 5.4 betas?

    Hey, a quick question: is the customizable splash screen for Personal coming in these 5.4 betas at some point, or does it come later in the 5.x pipeline? :)

    In the Evolution of our products and pricing blog-post from about a week ago, they wrote:
    I don't believe it will make it in 5.4 beta. I think Unity is (mostly) focusing on stability and bug-fixes now, rather than implementing new features, which always has potential to introduce new bugs.

    Yeah, probably won't make 5.4.0 then. Focusing on stability is of course the preferred approach at this point.

    Hi,

    No we wont be able to make 5.4. 5.4 is locked down for major bug fixes only now and the splash screen is still in development.
    5.4 does have a different splash screen which was added last year as part of the first stage. Its much simpler but now uniform across most platforms.
    We are aiming for 5.5 but can't say for sure until the work is finished. Hoping to have a blog post in the next week or 2 with some information on what to expect from it.
