Custom vegetation lod system for mesh terrain

    Hi,

    the last days i w as thinking about how to create a lod system for vegeation like trees and bushes for my custom modelled terrain.

    A system which includes that every tree and bush has it's own script and checks the distance between the player and it's own , i think that this approach will be too expensive.

    If anyone has some input on this , let me know !

    BUT OFCOURSE triggers , totally forgot about that ! :D

    And as i don't have unity pro atm , i'm gonna build it myself with the trigger approach , thanks man !
