Question Custom control track?

    Hello,
    Is there a way to implement custom control track?
    I was hoping to build a custom control track that can be prepopulated with sub-timeline.

    Found an ILayerable interface that allows Timeline tracks to be layered. Somewhat close to what I was looking for. However, I can't find an api for adding a layer. Are layers only added through Timeline GUI?
