Curriculum and rewards

    Should rewards stay the same over the whole learning process or can they change with curriculum lessons?

    Let's say I want to teach them how to walk to a target position.

    Do I give the agent a small reward for a better rotation and a small reward for a smaller distance or do I start with lesson 0 "goal achieved if agent looks into target direction" and lesson 1 "goal achieved if agent is at target position"?

    Breaking it up could result in "easier to learn" or it could result in confusion because the formula changed.
