Current Unity editor usage distribution stats

Hi guys

Since we are building an SDK for Unity, we really need to know what is the current usage distribution of the Editor per version so we can plan our support accordingly.

how can we get such data?

 

I would contact Unity directly, perhaps their support page.

If Unity is not sharing that information (extremely likely they are not!), you can assume most users will be on LTS of the past two or perhaps three years of Unity and that will net you the lion's share of people.

 

They actually used to share that. I’m pretty sure there was even an official public link. But in any case that is not the case nowadays.
I will definitely contact them should I won’t get that info.

Hi curious if you ever found the info you're looking for? I came here looking based on this thread but looks like they stopped altogether? It is such a critical thing to help asset publishers decide where to invest their time.
