Happening now, both in our editor, and more worryingly it's happening to our players too. We are using remote config and not allowing players to continue into the game, but because of the certificate error the remote config is not getting updated. So the players are not able to log in at the moment.

Yes, I'm seeing it now too today. I have let engineering know.

I don't believe that is Unity Technologies.

Confirm error, but not all Unity versions are affected.
    Affected:
    2018.4.20f1
    2018.4.23f1

    Not affected:
    2018.4.0f1

Tested with new default 3D projects.

Additional reports are appreciated but not necessary, we are looking into it. It looks like an expired SSL cert.

With the workaround of going offline appears another Error:
    Assertion failed on expression: '!GetMainEditorWindow()'

Only alphanumeric-keys seem to work correctly. Especially modifier-keys are not working correctly.

The curl error has been addressed. This issue has been resolved, apologies on the inconvenience. It was an expired SSL cert, it may take a few minutes for it to propagate.

It is happening now again, to our active players as well:

Curl error 51: Cert verify failed: UNITYTLS_X509VERIFY_FLAG_EXPIRED

I guess I can do nothing else.

You have to check your certificate on the server side, probably it has expired.

My server is not using a TLS cert.

You don't get such error for plain text HTTP, only for HTTPS, hence there must be some HTTPS requests in your game.

This is really weird. It was fine a few days ago. Are you sure this is not a Unity bug? Could it be one of the plugins?

I think Gradle is trying to fetch some dependencies from this address https://maven.google.com/, which may have an outdated cert. The console also mentioned about JAVA_HOME:

ERROR: JAVA_HOME is set to an invalid directory: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_281\bin

...even after I have removed the '\bin' from the environment variable.

    Any workaround?

After restarting my computer, I am getting another error:
A Native Collection has not been disposed, resulting in a memory leak. Enable Full StackTraces to get more details.

Well, certificate does have expiration date in it, so if may have been still valid few days ago.
All other three errors that you mentions are completely irrelevant to your issue.

It just happened in my Android build again, been popping up in the past few days. Restarting the app fixes the problem, but it is of course very inconvenient for any user. I am using Unity Analytics, IAP and Amazon S3 to host some of my app updates (via the asset SG Patcher). Amazon S3 certificate couldn't be expired, or else it wouldn't work after a restart of the app.

It's happening with our Vuforia Cloud Recognition application since one week.
    Any solutions?

I'm using unity 2019.3 and upgraded to unity 2021 but still have the same error.
