    Hi Everyone

Hope a lot of you have seen the new game being released called Cupman which mimics the graphical style of a 30s cartoon.

My question would be how would you go about creating a graphical style like that. I understand teh process of creating animation in say, maya, and have that animate. But this style looks so video like im just curious would the process be different to general 2d/3d animating?

    Thanks

    Cool. Hadn't seen that before.
I think that animation style could be duplicated using bone based animation or 2D sprites with a high frame count. Personally I would investigate a 2D bone based approach simply because I think a high number of frames for sprites would be a monotonous and time consuming task.
The coloring and post effects also play a role in the final look.
