The Editor appears to be consuming these key combinations and does not allow the game to even see that they happened.

This is a serious issue, as it makes it impossible for games to test many of the Ctrl modifiers without doing a full compile.

Ctrl+ASD are particularly heinous as Ctrl is used for a movement modifier such as 'duck' in the vast majority of 1st and 3rd person shooters.
Ctrl+S is particularly disappointing, as Save is disabled when Playing anyway, so why eat the keys?

The editor should be giving the Game first chance to consume keys, and only using them if the game does not.
However, it might be easier (and safer) if the editor disabled all keyboard shortcuts when Playing.

I found that there is a bug report about this from 2013 and again in 2015, but there was no indication as to when this will be corrected.

Please can you give an estimate as to when this will be corrected?
