    No C# teacher ever sais "function". Because they are called "methods". Now, GET OUT! -.-

    A "method" is a "function" that's associated with an object, so it's not incorrect to refer to a method as a function.

    I teach C# (sort of, but close enough). I use the terms interchangably all the time. For all intents and purposes @hippocoder has it right, functions and methods are considered the same thing in C#.

    For the record C# does have anonymous functions, which are actually called functions.

    Chill dude. That sort of behaviour is uncalled for.

    Started with discussions about CryTek closing some studios and ended with a debate on programming semantics.
