I would like to use Unity to create images to use as a dataset for training a neural network. It is not clear to me if it is possible to use assets from the Asset Store for this purpose. I would not use my application for commercial purposes, but I could potentially receive a cash prize. I am interested only in using free assets with a standard license.
Does using assets for this purpose fall under what is defined as "prepare derivative works of ... any Asset" in the EULA?

It probably depends on what the output is. If the AI can then create images based on the input material I would say it‘s a no. You would have to look for truly free assets, ie public domain / CC license,to be on the safe side.

In my case, the output would not be related to the images of the assets, but in any case you are right, I prefer to avoid this kind of problems.
    Thanks for the answer!

Thank you, I was actually thinking of making use of it, even though not for the assets. It seems very useful
