    Hey,

    Im currently using Rope 2 script and i am trying to create a working winch. I basically want the rope to get longer as i turn the winch one way and then obviously shorter when turning the other way.

    I am using version 2 of the rope script as it has the option to control the 'pull' and 'push' of the rope (shorter and longer) using keys, this works great for the 'pulling' part (getting shorter) however when you want to gradually push out more rope again its very erratic! All of the hidden parts of the rope which have just been 'pulled' in just seem to all come back out at once?!

    Is there anyway to have finer control over the rope in/out function? Or even an idea that would allow me to fake the in/out function?!

    Thanks a lot for any help!

    I'm not sure but it might probably help if you post a example file of what you have. That way you might get more people to help you rather than only the ones who have worked with something like this.

    Unless you have to buy that rope script.. (o.0);
