Creating a top down grid and moving objects

    Hey all

    I have spent the last few nights trying to find a good tutorial that shows me how to create a simple top down grid and how to move objects around on it. What I am after creating is a simple top down RPG were characters move in grids.

    Does anyone know of any good tutorials for this? I tried the 2D Roguelike but encountered many problems.
