    Greetings, Unity Community!
I know there are several tutorials on 2D but they are based on platformer style games and I am looking for a puzzle.
What I am trying to do is a tile base puzzle game (think of 2048 for example) for mobile devices primary. Only that the tiles would be static and events would occur once the user clicks on them.
The main question is - in the described case should I consider tiles and overall interface a sprite or should I use GUI types instead? How to better handle clicking events?
Sorry for the stupid question, but it seems really confusing for now.

Thank you! That is very useful training series. I've found that the best option to try right now is UGUI that comes in lates 4.6 release. I would update the thread on how it turned out.
