    Hi guys,

I was using the character assets and then I changed my model and my animation controller. Now I did it, no errors, exact same thing as before just different animations, yet all that happens when I press play is that I stand still, my idle animation plays but I stand still and cannot move?

Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

    Thanks,

    Cooper.

From what you described it sounds like its a scripting problem, maybe check that. It also might be the animator controller, as it may have 'apply root motion' set to true.

What I meant by scripting was something like a speed variable, or some sort of syntax error that was caused by your new model/animations. As far as root motion goes, it depends on the animations, but from what it sounds like just keep it to false.
