create widget for android

Is it possible to create widget within unity?

I know what he means a widget that runs on android also IOS and Mac and Windows would be nice. Most apps you make these days like accu weather allow you to create a widget on the home screen. Clock app is another example this is a common mobile task and would be great if unity added this to their arsenal. It would be a perfect UI addition and better if you could make a scene that you can choose to run as a widget on mobile and desktop. There is no easy way to do this from what I have read. I am going to work on this plugin as I have a need for it and like developing with unity for cross platform support. If anyone is interested on working with me on this project let me know. I am making it as easy as dropping a scene in a folder assets/widget and then it will display that scene as a widget on mobile. To be added to the home screen.
