I would like to be able to create segments based on when players first started playing.

For example, I would like to have a segment: "Players with Day 0 on or between October 15 and October 20". Then I could see DAU, Spending, etc, specific to this segment of players that joined during those dates.

This is useful because certain points in time mark noteworthy events, like ad campaigns, featuring, video review coverage, social media pushes, etc. Then we can see how effective such events are and if they're worth continuing to pursue relative to other segments.

@Peacewise I see what you're saying and I see how having the ability to set specific dates can be extremely useful for segments. I will bring this up with our engineers and see if it's something we can add to our road map. In the mean time, could you please post this on our feedback page so that others who might want the same feature can vote on it and help us prioritize upcoming features?

    Yes, will do, thank you.

By the way, some positive feedback for you: Prior to Unity Analytics existing, I had been using Google Analytics. Despite Unity's much narrower feature set due to it being new, I find it worlds easier to use and much more appropriate for games. Thank you for that!
