Create new object when hierarchy is full?

    I usually create a new gameobject through the hierarchy by right clicking and using the context menu,

    but lately I've had troubles with this when my hierarchy view is full of other objects, because then I have to create it as a child of something else.

    Is there a way around this?

    This is still a problem when you are dragging an instance of a prefab into the hierarchy.

    Just drop the prefab onto the Scene name. Works fine.
