Create asset bundle at runtime without unity editor

    Anyone knows any solutions? Is new Addressable asset system gonna work? Thanks!

    The code to build asset bundles does not exist at runtime, so there is no way to do this today.

    Thanks for replying @Ryanc_unity , I was looking into this very question since I am making my game moddable and would like users to be able to package their own assets (models, textures, sounds, dll's) so that I can import them at runtime. What alternative would you recommend?

    @Ryanc_unity , any clarity on whether this is ever going to be available, why it's still not available to this day, and what are the alternatives? Assets are not just static, they can also be procedurally generated at runtime, so the need to bundle them in order to store and access them is necessary.
