Question Create a Mock HMD Plugin to output Dual Display instead of SbS

    We have a specific project that is built on the XR ecosystem, but does not use an HMD. Presently the Mock HMD driver implementation only provides side-by-side stereoscopic output over a single video cable (such as HDMI/DisplayPort). Our application requires that the left eye be output to display port 1 and right eye be output to display port 2. Lastly, this application requires that the Windows OS and Nvidia Driver be set to "Clone Mode". We have tried render textures, custom 3D stereo implementations and other approaches but cannot get Unity to see 2 separate displays when the desktop settings and GPU are in "Clone Mode". We can see both displays with the desktop settings and GPU are in "Extended Desktop Mode". We would like an XR Provider such as the Unity Mock HMD that supports dual display output in Clone mode. As the Unity Mock HMD is a custom provider built as a .dll from Unity Package, we are not able to modify the source code to provide other modes than the Side-by-Side.
